SUMMARY:

The Digital Rights Intern will assist with monitoring and analyzing to help identify potential copyright infringements on YouTube while gaining an understanding of the music catalog from Sony and Create Music Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with monitoring and analyzing YouTube channels and videos to identify potential copyright infringements or unauthorized usage of music assets.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to develop a deep understanding of the music catalog, including catalog offerings from Sony Music and Create Music Group.

QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and with staff of all levels.
  • Familiarity with music cataloging and metadata management preferred.
  • Previous experience working with content management systems, particularly the YouTube CMS preferred.
  • Passion for music and a keen interest in the digital media landscape preferred.

PAY SCALE:

  • This internship is for college credit
  • Must be enrolled in a university and continue to be enrolled for the duration of the internship.
  • Graduates are not eligible for the internship.
  • Must be able to provide documents/eligibility requirements in order to receive college credit or the applicant will be disqualified.
