Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for all financial planning and provide improvement for financial processes to influence operational decisions. This role will work closely with various departments and stakeholders across the organization and deliver actionable insights to support the company's strategic growth initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
  • Conduct detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis to support business decisions and evaluate potential risks and opportunities
  • Prepare financial reports, including annual budget, variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics
  • Monitor and manage cost projections for each vendor across all departments and subsidiaries
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data, provide insights, and support decision making
  • Participate in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions transactions and future equity fundraising
  • Prepare board presentations and investor materials
  • Support the implementation and optimization of FP&A tools and systems

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be based in Los Angeles and willing to commute to the office one day/week
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 
  • 3+ years of previous experience in financial planning & analysis
  • Advance experience in excel modeling and financial analysis 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Venture Capital or Private Equity due diligence process preferred
  • Previous experience with FP&A tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) preferred
  • Master's Degree, MBA or CPA preferred

PAY SCALE

  • $100,000 - $115,000/annually
