Account Specialist, Creative Services - Flighthouse

SUMMARY:

The Account Specialist, Creative Services will be managing and expanding the sales of our creative services within the music industry. This role will act as the liaison between clients—comprising record labels and artists—and our internal creative team. This role will  oversee existing client projects and leverage our network while actively developing new relationships, securing repeat business and increasing revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the music industry. 
  • Utilize existing contacts and develop new relationships to expand our client base and increase sales of creative services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer service. 
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure continued collaboration and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the internal creative team to ensure that client projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standard. 
  • Oversee the production timeline and delivery of services such as lyric videos, album artwork, merchandising, and social media content.
  • Develop tailored proposals and pitches that align with client needs and showcase Flighthouse’s capabilities. 
  • Drive the negotiation and closure of deals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the music industry trends and client needs. 
  • Leverage insights to enhance service offerings and client relationships.
  • Gather client feedback to improve service delivery and client satisfaction. 
  • Report on project progress, client status, and potential opportunities to the Director of Creative Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years of related experience in a project/account management role within the music industry, particularly in a creative services environment.
  • Strong existing relationships within the music industry, including contacts at record labels and with artists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering long-term relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the creative needs specific to the music industry, including visual and digital content creation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

PAY SCALE:

  • $40,000 - $45,000/annually
