SUMMARY:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for being the main point of contact full time for all IT-related matters, providing efficient and effective support to employees both on-site and remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related matters, providing efficient and effective support to employees both on-site and remotely.
  • Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on information technology equipment and software.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and prompt replacement as needed.
  • Assist with set up, and deployment for a PC/Laptop telework deployment and monitor upgrade throughout the Department
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Provide dedicated IT support for executive meetings, ensuring proper setup of equipment and reliable Wi-Fi for priority meetings.
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries and requests related to IT, ensuring effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Assist with driving processes to improve IT operations, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • May be responsible for additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be based in Los Angeles and willing to commute to the office as needed.
  • High School Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2+ years desktop, laptop and server equipment experience.
  • 2+ years applications and macOS and Windows operating systems experience.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle tasks with urgency as needed.
  • Ability to work independently without much supervision.

PAY SCALE:

  • $28.00 - $30.00/hour
